Past the role she played in the award winning movie 12 Yeas a Slave, Lupita Nyongó in her own right did created a mark that is only hers, not only within the boundaries of silver screen, but more so in the field of fashion as she ushered every red carpets with all hits and never a miss.
The actress was born in 1993 by her parents with Kenyan roots and graduated from Yale’s School of Drama. Winning best supporting actress in 2013, Lupita is the first Kenyan to win an Oscar. Early career includes being a film assistant in various projects.
More than her exceptional role, Lupita stood out from the crowd as the breakout star left the expecting audience in awe donning her red cape gown during the Golden Globes in January 2014.
There seems to be no stopping for this Hollywood A-lister as she again wowed everyone during the 2014 Oscars.
Here she wore a powder blue custom made gown in deep V-neck and generously pleated bottom.
And come on, let us not forget that thin headband? We never looked at the said hair piece the same way from then on.
There she came to again be adventurous in a tasteful way with this bright blue GUCCI gown she wore at SAG Awards 2014.
This 2015 Golden Globes justifies that Lupita knows no boundaries when it comes to the red carpet.
She continued to bloom in this ombre inspired floral gown that again left the viewing public with complete dazzling amazement.
And just recently, the young actress/ show stopper continued her reign as she entered her Cannes red carpet debut in a playful, Grecian inspired jade green chiffon with cape detail and floral designs around the shoulder and neckline area.
Admit it, red carpet is never the same after Lupita’s arrival. This star truly added a different flavor and spice that’s never seen in the past.
With her continued crown that continues to shine, we’re all sure that there’s more to come from this young fashionista and we’ll can’t wait for it to unfold piece by piece.
