Revamping The Usual Sweatshirt Ensemble

sweatshirt

Sweatshirts, or sometimes called as hoodies depending on the type, are now being used not just for its original function but for forming styles as well. Men are said to have the upper hand in wearing this wardrobe, as this is technically a Mens wear.

With sweatshirts being added to men’s daily ensemble, it is not a surprise that more and more brands are now ensuring that for every collection to release, sweatshirts must be included. And with the growing demand on this garment, we can all nod in agreement that men are slowly capitalizing their overall look by just grabbing the simplest sweatshirt from their closets.

And fashion, being the always evolving canopy that we’ve come to know, is slowly embracing the sweatshirt style and channels it through different mash-ups on a guy’s other piece of clothing.

Typically, sweatshirts are made of cotton or other lightweight materials for the original purpose of this garment is to ease and regulate bodily heat during jogging or cold weather. Because of the fact that sweatshirts would give a wearer the comfort, it will never be an issue if you’d pair it with technically any other type of clothing.

Sweatshirts are commonly on the basic color palette of black, white and gray but as consumers see the fashion promise that it beholds, it is now being marketed on fancy pop colors, psychedelic and flexible prints.

Men can easily wear sweatshirts as their main top body garment and it looks good when worn as it is. Pick a fancy-colored sweatshirt, grab your most trusted denim jeans and finish the ensemble with a basic-colored sneakers, et voila, the carefree, boy-next-door look. Top it off with a sports snap back and you’re on your way to be an A-lister.

When channeling the smart casual vibe, put your neutral colored sweatshirt as an undergarment to a flannel plaid polo o a darker or lighter color. Sync this with a khaki-colored chino pants and your Dr. Martens boots. Grab your mailman bag and went straight to the office looking like an ideal fashion icon.

If the shenanigan is more formal, you don’t need to fret as treating your sweatshirt as an undergarment plus your cream-colored button down will surely do the trick. Under your sweatshirt, put the lightest formal polo on a light color and you’ll definitely look like a smart Ivy League graduate.

Play with your sweatshirt when going to a ball game or you’re hitting the gym by pairing it with a sports or a bomber jacket with colors contrasting your chosen sweatshirt palette. Play it with a crisp pair of jeans folded two inches above your gym shoes, and with an even loudly colored gym bag and you’re going to rock the sporty peg.

Shorts would also be of good mix-up with a sweatshirt on times when you need to grab something from a convenience store. The laid-back look will strengthen your manly appeal, especially when you have an Oxford or Jordan’s covering your feet.
