Babymetal is a group of cute girls singing metal song. Unlike the usual metal that has full blast of scream, their genre differs because they dance while performing and they are all young girls singing metal songs. They called their genre as kawaii metal which means cute metal.
The band consists members Suzuka Nakamoto as “Su-metal”, Yui Mizuno as “Yuimetal”, and Moa Kikuchi as “Moametal.” 17- year-old Su-metal is the lead singer while Moa 15 and Yui 15 are the back-up vox and dancers. Originally, the girls were members of Sakura Gakuin. Su was graduated from Sakura Gakuin in 2013.
Babymetal has been trademarked with their cute voices and faces, and of course their fashion. Their costumes were inspired by Japanese Gothic and Punk Lolita styles. As a matter of fact, the trio metal was featured on UK Magazine I-D. They also joined Lady Gaga’s 5 dates of summer artRave: the Artpop Ball Tour (Phoenix, Las Vegas, Stateline, Salt Lake City, and Denver).
The trio looks like came from an anime show or manga characters. Their costumes are usually combined by red and black. When it comes to makeup, their eyes always stand out because of the eyeliners.

To look like a Babymetal, or Su-metal by using makeup, the main focus would be enhancing the colors of eye area. First, put the primer on the eyes. Next, put a light gray eyeshadows all over the eyelid (both eyes). Make sure to brush it based on the shape of the eyelids.
After putting gray eyeshadow, put black eyeshadow on both eyelids. Fix the line of the eyes by using eyeliner. Make small wings at the corner of the eyes. Brush the eyelashes by using mascara. Add white eyeliner and eyeshadow on the bottom of the eyes. Add white eyeshadow to brow bones.
To complete Su-metal look, split two pieces of hair from the rest of the hair, put the rest of the hair on high pony tail.
