In modern time, it’s not acceptable for men to wear pink that only women are suppose to wear pink. There have been a lot of great arguments on this subject. But did you know that the generally accepted rule is pink for boys, and blue is for girls? The reason is that pink has a stronger color and more decided, while blue is delicate and dainty and much prettier for girls.
In the 19th century, regardless of sex all babies and toddlers were dressed in unisex all-white dresses. And pink and blue were not recognized as gender-specific colors. In Ladies Home Journal, 1890 they said that “Pure white is used for all babies. Blue is for girls and pink is for boys, when a color is wished.”
Can we answer this now? Pink or blue? Which is for girls and which is for boys?
Just to lessen arguments anybody can wear any color depending on what they want. But now a days men wearing pink can show more manliness than other colors. Just a few ideas or tips on wearing pink clothes for men. Men with a darker complexion must wear a lighter shade of pink, while men with a lighter complexion can look better wearing a darker pink.
