NBA is now considered as a prominent fashion trend setter on Men’s wear. Fashion geeks would take a peek over basketball games and leagues not for the play itself but for the wardrobe of the MVP’s and famous players from the hottest jersey designs detailing fonts, lines, and shades down to the latest basketball shoes that they wear to match and complete their game wear.
Ever heard of the “NBA All-Star Weekend – All Star Fashion Show” this was the very first runway show for basketball players under LeBron James’ Springhill Productions, IMG and in association with Turner Sports presented by Samsung Galaxy. Who would have guessed the ramp models for the catwalk would also be basketball’s biggest names such as Kevin Durant, Kobe, D-Wade, and Lebron James, what an all-star event.
The event was held at New York. This event was star studded by famous professional Models who attended this event not to walk through the spotlight but as guests such as Erin Heatherton, Channel Iman, this event was hosted by non-other than Carrie Keagan renowned TV personality. This is a competition that has gone off court and became a showcase of how they carry themselves on the runway wearing coat and ties.

The producer Lebron James wore a smart casual look by adding a fedora hat to a pair of Jeans, shirt and a blue button down long sleeves and completed it with a striking white shoes. Another is Chandler Parson who wore a checkered grey coat, pants and covered it with a grey detective coat and accented it with an executive’s bag.
James Harden wore a matte colored pair of coat and pants and semi- high cut sneakers. Klay Thompson arrived the stage wearing a formal grey pair of pants and coat. Jeff Teague walked the runway wearing a pair of black coat, pants and tie bringing in his natural angst. And the winner J.r. Smith wore a furred black coat paired it with black pants and shoes, Mr. Smith’s award is a silver bow tie encapsulated in glass plus of course the bragging rights for becoming the first ever winner to this said competition.
Now NBA has officially started a brand new movement in the world of sports, that in this generation everything is already labeled with style even these basketball icons have become now the most influential men in terms of their fashion style and remarkable confidence there is no stopping fashion either it be on or off court.
