June is said to be the month of brides and marriages. It is a normal scene that we witness churches being crowded with white-clad woman adorned by joyous faces. We intensely followed stars that are getting their vows on this month and judge which wedding would be dubbed as the best.
Judging it through the fashion perspective, we look for innocuous trends, the weirdest placements of gowns, the tantalizing accessories and the whole vibe of the ceremony.
We cannot deny the fact that aside from being obsessed with the wedding details, we have gone as far as backtracking their proposals, the romantic aura that exuded and the diamond engagement ring that was given to signify love and everlasting commitment. And when it comes to the engagement ring, we have kept it down but as avid followers of fancy fashion, we judged the outcome if that glittering piece of jewelry came from the celebrated accessories couture, Tiffany and Co.
Known as one of the most known accessories and jewelry manufacturers of all time, Tiffany and Co., colloquially known as Tiffany or Tiffany’s is an American-based store with its flagship situated in New York City.
The feel of luxury and affluence being exuded by Tiffany had originated through the hundreds of big names in fashion and show business that had delegated their jewelry cravings through the store’s incomparable service.
Most customers are men who wanted to give the love of their lives the fanciness of owning a piece of jewelry from Tiffany. And most girls ogle with the products sold by the store and with the name tagged on that glitter, a hefty price tag is sure to be expected.
Tiffany and Co. is founded by Charles Lewis Tiffany and John B. Young in 1837 on the shabby streets of the old New York with the main aim of jolting the sleeping market of jewelry making. During their starting times, Tiffany and Co. also channeled their service into crafting fine porcelain and china which was then patronized by people of the upper echelons of the society such as Lady Bird Johnson in 1968.
As of last count in the first quarter of 2014, Tiffany is known to have stores scattered all over the fashion realm with 121 on its origin country, 72 in the APAC region, 54 in Japan, and a total of 37 in Europe. The said store had been known in producing diamond-clad accessories and jewelry such as rings, necklaces, bracelets, tiaras.
Tiffany also uses highly-priced gems of almost all kinds, rarest of stones to be added as a jewelry piece, sterling and platinum and white rose gold. Some of the most valued gemstones being produced by Tiffany are tsavorite, Kunzite, morganite, aquamarine, turquoise and many more. It can be remembered that Academy-award winning actress Cate Blanchett recently sported a Tiffany and Co. piece on the 2015 Oscars.
Tiffany and Co. also specializes into trying out the fragrance department since 1987. Almost three decades after their first perfume release called Tiffany for Women, the company had spawned into creating men’s fragrance which is what is left as of today.
Some of the noted and known names as Tiffany and Co.’s jewelers are Elsa Peretti, Paloma Picasso, Francesca Amfitheaterof and Jean Schlumberger.
