The Striking World of Pastels

pastel colors

We would never ever know where did it come from but we thank Heavens for we have experienced the wonder of being fashionably in.

Fads and craze really do come and go but many of us won’t let go of this specific trend because like us, this weirdly adapted as well to the changes that the world of fashion is still currently undergoing.

With a few tweaks here and there, this style still looked so modern, timeless and a go-to ensemble.

Summer is one of the best seasons to pull-off a pastel-inspired wardrobe as this simply is the time of the year when everyone is out and about thinking of the ocean, of Popeye the Sailorman, of the sun shining and of technically the all the colors that shouts attention.

Spring is also a contender as the sight of life can vividly be reflected to the colors rotating on the pastel category.

One must be willing to be ridiculed and praised thereafter if he or she wanted to display an outfit that is evident of color.

Pastels are usually nice to the eyes but it is always worn with restrictions.

Picking which color suits denim, or say a low-toned sneakers is one of the general smarts that one must possess to successfully don this scheme.

But what really makes a pastel-inspired outfit a stunner? Let’s discuss some of the colors that play a gargantuan part of what pastel is all about.

ROSE/PINK – Although this color sometimes had been tagged with femininity, the color rose is considered somewhat on the pastel side as this denotes strong streaks of pink when looked at for a long time. The color rose also denotes the softness and beauty that a woman exemplifies and rather than being the color that’s loud visually, this color is pastel on its unique disposition of meaning and message.

POWDER BLUE – This color displays the lightness of blue and this is pretty much a challenge to people on how this can be channeled as strong or striking.

NEON GREEN – What more way to say pastel than neon? Neon green had its reputation in being striking and pleasing provided that you have worn it appropriately. This color shouts so much pastel that you only need to adorn your ensemble quite less.

ORANGE – Next to neon green, orange is one of the loudest colors on this palette. Orange not only exudes the aura of vibrancy, this hue also emanates fun and boldness. The color is well suited for women with tanned skin and accentuates the battle of hues when worn with dark-colored garments such as scarves, pants or tank tops.

VIOLETS – One must classify this as a dull color but violet is well-deserving to be called a pastel depending on the lightness of violet that you will pick. Light violets or light indigos are close to the effect of what powder blues bring. You can match light violet garments with whites or with darker hues of the same color.

CONFIDENCE – This is obviously not a pastel color but one must have tons of these when going for the pastel-inspired outfit. And anyhow, confidence is a color or accessory that one should always wear with whatever ensemble he/she might go for, for confidence will move you higher heights when it comes to being fashionable.
