Just because they are dainty looking does not mean that they are only reserved for women’s fashion. These seemingly delicate shades were able to penetrate the gates of men’s clothing. The line between worlds divided by stereotypes has faded as the trend for light colored garments emerge as seen on some of the collections presented on fashion runways.
We have been immersed into the impression that soft, candy hues emanate femininity. Eliminate this thought because men can also look good wearing these colors. These may seem bold or too adventurous for most guys out there, but trying this trend isn’t as bad as it seem. Throw out the standards when it comes everything machismo and get a dab of fun in your ensemble once in a while.
Add life to the usual monotone that most men use because they can get boring over time. Stay away from the stiffness every now and then, so pick up those clothes with splash of sweet colors like you mean it.
It is understandable for first timers to have hesitations with this trend. For the curious though, starting small is the ideal way to go. Begin with a shirt or pants and pair it with anything that is in a neutral shade. This will somewhat mute the brightness and tone down the overall look. The ensemble gives a preppy vibe that can also pass for formal events and corporate settings.
The casual look will be as fashionable as it can get if you pair candy colored shorts with your stroll-around shirt, comfy espadrilles or slip-ons. Just because the palette is usually seen in spring and summer does not mean it is not permitted during cold weather. Wearing outer garments like a leather jacket would finish the look that is worthy to be in line with those shown in fashion books.
